About Nestle York
The Nestle factory in York is located in Clifton, Y031 8TA. This chocolate site of Nestle produces Kit Kat, Aero and Milky Bar confectionery brands within its York factory facility. Nestle entered the York-based facility with the acquisition of Rowntree Mackintosh and produces 1900 Kit Kats every minute. More recently, the York facility has started producing Aero Caramel, the caramel flavoured milk chocolate made with cocoa, sourced under the Nestle Cocoa Plan.
Shifts
Production at the York factory operates 24/7 with the shifts pattern being 12-hours per day working from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am. Shifts vary between 36 hours and 60 hours per week.
