HGV Class 1 Driver vacancies in Northallerton – Ongoing work available.

Your pay rate as an HGV Class 1 Driver will be:

• Days: £17.33 per hour | Nights: £23.05 per hour
• Weekly Pay
• Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 8 hours

Shift pattern as an HGV Class 1 Driver: 

• We are recruiting to cover Mon-Fri shift patterns for telephone communication deliveries and trunking
• There are various start times available

Your responsibilities as an HGV Class 1 Driver: 

• This will be a mix of trunking and telephone communication sites. Although the majority of the class 1 work will be trunking you must also understand there will be an element of class 2 work involved as and when required (still paying class 1 rate).
  You will be required to use a hand held scanning terminal to scan labels on cages, pallets etc – training will be given.
  There will be an element of hand balling on some items on the class 2 work mixture of pallets, cages and boxes.
  There will be a full days assessment you will be required to attend.
  Experience of moffett would be advantageous

The requirements of the HGV Class 1 Driver: 

• A full Class 1 HGV Licence held for Min 2 years required
  A valid Drivers CPC Card
  A digital tachograph card
  A full understanding of WTD legislation
  Reliable and excellent time keeping
  Flexible with start times & working days
  Moffett licence or experience of Moffett would be advantageous
