HGV Class 1 Driver

Job Description

We are recruiting to cover Mon-Fri shift patterns for store deliveries and trunking!

Challenge-trg Recruitment is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Crewe, CW2 5UZ. 

Your pay rate as an HGV Class 1 Driver will be between £17.73 for days and £18.85 per hour for nights (after 22:00pm) 

Shift pattern as an HGV Class 1 Driver: 

• Monday to Friday, 13:00pm – 16:00pm (preferred start time but we may be able to accommodate if a different time suits you)
• There are various start times available with a current average shift length of 10-12 hours

What you can expect as a HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Weekly Pay
• Guaranteed minimum shift payment of 8 hours

The requirements of the HGV Class 1 Driver: 

• A full Class 1 HGV Licence held for Min 2 years required
• A valid Drivers CPC Card
• A digital tachograph card
• A full understanding of WTD legislation
• Reliable and excellent time keeping
• Flexible with start times & working days
• Paid assessment required, this will be regular ongoing work
