Job Description

We are looking for a full-time, skilled Welder/Fabricator to join us at our reverse operation in for our client in Skelmersdale, WN8 8DY.

This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process, as well as tray wash operation, for one of the leading grocery supermarkets. The site is a fast-paced, diverse environment, with plenty of development opportunities available.

Your working hours as a Welder/Fabricator:

You will be working Monday to Friday from 8am until 4pm

Pay, benefits and more:

• Hourly rate £12.00p/h
• Average weekly earnings £480
• Holiday pay
• Opportunities for a permanent contract for the right candidate

What you’ll do on a typical day as a Welder/Fabricator:

• Repairing the damaged cages – welding/grinding
• Any other light repair on site requested by client
• Ensure a hazard free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Following the H&S policy

What you need to succeed:

• Current in date certificate for Mig welding
• Current in date certificate for Abrasive wheels.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work
