Job Description

Challenge-trg Recruitment are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a new logistics centre in Northampton, NN4 9FJ.

We are looking for driven and hardworking people to work in fantastic working conditions in a friendly environment with plenty of opportunity to progress in the future. You will be working in a warehouse dealing with trade quality products and accessories.

Pay rate and Shift as a full time Warehouse Operative:

Afternoon Shift:

• £13.35 per hour – overtime rate x 1.5, paid after 40 hours are completed in one week
• 14:00pm until 22:00pm from Monday – Friday

Duties as a Warehouse Operative:

• Picking, packing goods
• Loading, unloading, moving, storing, palletising products
• Managing received goods for dispatch
• Keeping accurate records, either paper-based or on a computer
• Complying with health and safety requirements
• Labelling items
• Cleaning the warehouse
• Maintaining equipment
• Load and unload vehicles with products for delivery accurately and safely in line with company health & safety policies
• Check and confirm loads for accuracy, and report any discrepancies
• Off-load any products, check they are correct and undamaged and load them into the appropriate areas for storage
• Utilise the warehouse management system on a daily basis in line with pick and pack requirements
