Warehouse Operative

• 3 days on, 3 days off (12 hours)
• Working day shift from 6am-6pm or night shift from 6pm-6am

• £10.80 – £12.63 per hour
• Different rates given for using different MHE trucks
• Base rate for all is £10.80 days and £11.88 nights
• Overtime pay is £14.36 days – £15.44 nights

• Primarily using PPT/LLOP trucks
• Upskill training to use Reach and VNA trucks
• Using pick equipment to complete order before transporting to loading.
• Loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Picking orders within set time frames, ensuring all picking standards have been met.
• Using manual handling best practices to lift up to 20 kilos as part of the picking process. Products are grocery products.
• Be flexible and committed to providing excellence in all aspects, with a keen eye for detail.
• Be able to demonstrate a proactive approach when planning and be able to react positively to day-to-day challenges.

MHE experience is preferred but not required, full training will be provided. All workers will use PPT/LLOPs from day 1. Other MHEs such as Reach and VNA trucks are used throughout the site, upskilled training may be available for this. If you do wish to receive additional training on Reach and VNA trucks, you will be paid a weekly bonus.
